NAT Yellow, no clue why

Postby Kyonikov » Sun Mar 18, 2012 11:47 am

Hey, I'm having an issue where my NAT is showing up yellow. It says "Behind Firewall" when I'm fairly certain that I'm not behind one.
Windows Firewall is fully disabled. I have UPnP enabled on my router, I have the port in the server tab of the options forwarded. http://canyouseeme.org/ can see that port and says it's unblocked.
I have no issues with any other p2p or torrenting, so I have no clue why RS is saying that I'm blocked. Any ideas?

Hi Kyonikov,

i have the very same "bug" here. canyouseeme.org states that all my RS instances have a forwarded port, none of them shows up in green.
This has no bad influence concerning your connectivity. Right now i can suggest to just ignore that light. (Only "red" is a problem).

I agree - I experience the same issue. I can only get NAT to turn green when using Upnp. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to manually change the ports used when using Upnp so I have it configured statically through my firewall and it shows yellow - but the software is working as expected. So - a bug?
