Arabic .ts is now in the first post, I see! Defnax, have you considered using Transifex: http://help.transifex.net/features/form ... l#qt-files
Transifex has translation memory feature, which I think would help newbie translators with specific technical terms.

So, guys, what about that ol' Transifex? It might get you some new translators.

Somebody please tell the translators to use a spell checker.
Example: 'Geduld' spelled 'Gedult' (in German)

To be fair:

Had a brief look at retroshare_de.ts and found that the source needs a spell check too.

...for the third time (why can't I edit my posts btw and how long does it take for them to show up...)

There is an inconsistency re. the usage of 'PGP' i.e. sometimes it's gpg-key another time it's PGP-key.
Please fix it.

Well, Transifex online translator has spell checking, see some screenshots of how it works: http://docs.cksource.com/CKEditor_3.x/D ... g_CKEditor

I'm working on a way to correct the spelling in one go e.g.
replace all lines containing <translation> tags with empty lines -> save as base file
create a diff to original ts file (now diff file contains translation tags only)
put the diff through a spell checker
patch the diff back into the base file

Problem:
Care must be taken not to alter anything crucial in the diff file while correcting the spelling.

Edit:
Nearly there.
How do I go about transmitting the patched ts file to the original translator (for proof reading) ?

Edit #2:
Corrected spelling (following NEW German orthography). It's in retroshare_de_spellchecked.ts
Translated some more strings, changed sentence structure where it was needed, changed Kb/s to kB/s. Merged with above file into retroshare_de_spell_trans.ts

The issue of typos in the <source> tags (e.g. Channel Decscription) remains and needs to be fixed in the template
