Moderation Policy?

Postby overand » Thu Mar 03, 2011 6:13 pm

I feel there should be a document outlining the policy regarding post moderation. I wasn't able to find anything regarding the details of this - all I know so far is that my posts have to be approved.

This makes sense for new users - though it's uncommon on the forums I tend to frequent. I'm curious if this changes past a certain time, number of posts, etc.

Obviously, forums can be difficult to manage - but increasing the workload of the moderators while also slowing down posts may be causing more trouble / difficulty for both the standard users and the moderators.

I'd love to hear other people's thoughts on this!

How long does it normally take for the moderator to actually look at and approve/disapprove of posts?
