SSH connection fail - DjRS

Postby Doume » Mon Mar 10, 2014 11:59 pm

Hello evrybody

I have some trouble to connect DjRS to rs-nogui in SSH mode

I post it also in RS forum : retroshare://forum?name=problem%20to%20 ... 684fd7a863

Hello
I try to use DjRS ( https://github.com/drbob/djrs ) on RS 0.5.5c revision 0.5.5.7068
so I follow the instalation step to execute RS-nogui with SSH mode
http://retroshareteam.wordpress.com/201 ... to-bubba3/
for SSH access : retroshare-nogui -X -S 7022 -L user -P <passwordhash> (with the good one)

but when i whant to connect at http://127.0.0.1:8000/login/
but it doesn't work and I have this message : login Error : Error reading SSH protocol banner

the Android application are not able to connect also : net.lag.jaramiko.SSHException

Have you one idea of the reason ?

Nota : I use Retroshare on Ubuntu 13.10 from the dev pakage on one computer, and the armhf pakage on linaro on the other one, but it's the same result

Your are missing the "-C" command line switch. It enables the rpc protocol which is required for djrs and the Android client.
But this does not explain the SSH Error. Are you using the correct port? If you specify "-S 7022", you have to tell dhrs to connect to port 7022.

Hello
thanks for answer. Yes the port is correct, and even with the -C it's not working
