BUG: Forum stops updating after making a large post

Postby Praetorian » Mon Aug 03, 2015 2:04 pm

f you make quite large text post (approx > 270 Kb) to any RetroShare forum, or make a post with quite large picture + text, then you RetroShare will stuck and won't synchronize to others any further forum posts written from your machine.

This applies to RetroShare v.0.6 and connected to the new GXS system. RetroShare 0.5 is not containing this bug.

Please, help, as it's nearly impossible to use forums with this bug.If some of my friends forget about it, then RetroShare would stop sending forum posts from this friend forever. (until new forum has created).

This may explain why I was seeing all these "ERROR: trying to read a packet of length ******, while the maximum length is 262143" messages in my terminal when I started RS earlier… But it was in RS 0.5. Presumably 0.6 still contains the same limit.
