Delete Forums/Channel Messages, Search Channel Messages

Postby FJ76 » Tue Mar 06, 2012 9:24 pm

I love the general concept behind this software. It's nearly perfect for my needs.

I know the forum deletion issue has been covered already, but this is really important. It would be great to edit/delete forums or threads that you authored. Even if I could figure out how to delete the correct data locally, is there any way to propagate deletions to your network?

Ability to delete channel posts.

Ability to search and tag (personal tags, not public) channel posts.

Ability to add channels in a hierarchy instead of flat list.

More tooltips when items are cut off.

User-friendly context menus on more items, but this isn't that important overall.
I'm not fluent in C++ unfortunately. Might poke around the source code if I'm bored. Thank you for your hard work on this.

Regards,

Well, I'd like a user friendly method to delete channels/forums, too. Is this implemented yet?

You can unsubscribe from channels and forums. When this is your own channel there is no entry in the contextual menu, but you can use the button on the right hand side of the window, next to the cog button.

Edit: when this is your own *channel*, not forum.
