translation to chinese coding problem !!!!!!

Postby robinzhen » Sun Apr 19, 2009 9:57 pm

Chinese code have 2 different group

1 is : The simplified Chinese (GBK) [main used in PRC CHINA ]
2 is : The Traditional Chinese (BIG5) [main used in Taiwan,CHINA]

The QT only have Chinese option, It's not have "simplified Chinese" or "Traditional Chinese" ...

In CHINA , This two different chinese font code is very important ...

If I choose simplified Chinese , May be let Taiwan people can't do this translation again....

How to fix it ????

Please help me...

on svn are 2 .ts file avaible for chinese

simplified Chinese:
lang/retroshare_cn_simp.ts

Traditional Chinese:
lang/retroshare_cn_trad.ts

you can use which you want translate?

about for Taiwan can generate new translations like then i must add into source can use Taiwan translation .
im not expert but can enable this one:

_languages.insert("zh_CN",
QString::fromUtf8("\347\256\200\344\275\223\345\255\227"));
_languages.insert("zh_TW",
QString::fromUtf8("\347\260\241\351\253\224\345\255\227"));

i think the first translator used wrong things possible he doesnt used zh_CN mean its at the moment disabled.
